Botanical extraction
Eight percolation tanks extracting more than 20,000 kg of botanicals per week, alcohol-free and hydroalcoholic.
Liquid compounding
Batches from 50 to 3,300 gallons, blended to the written specification.
Filling and packing
Dropper bottles through 16 oz fills, capped, labeled and cased on site.
On-site quality control
HPLC, UPLC-MS/MS, GC-MS, LC-MS and ICP-MS instruments plus a microbiology lab, releasing every production lot against its specification.
Spray drying
Up to 100 kg per hour on a maltodextrin carrier, for brands that pair a liquid with a powder or capsule SKU.
Vacuum tray drying
150 to 1,500 kg per day on a dicalcium phosphate carrier, for extract powders used in the same program.
Quality, documentation and 21 CFR Part 111
BioB manufactures under the dietary supplement GMPs in 21 CFR Part 111. What you receive with every production lot, and what stays on your side, is set out before the quote.
Batch records
Every lot is made to a master manufacturing record and documented in a batch production record, retained and available on request.
Certificate of analysis
Each production lot ships with a COA against the agreed specification. Samples are made in small development batches and ship with the specification sheet, not a COA.
Identity testing
Botanical actives are identity-tested in our on-site laboratory before use, and the finished liquid is tested against its specification before release.
Supplier qualification
Components we do not make ourselves are qualified under §111.75. Because the extracts are ours, the largest part of your supply chain is already inside the quality system.
Your side of the split
The brand owns the label, the claims on it and the product listing. We review the panel against the product before the run and supply the specification and COA that stand behind it.

Liquid supplement manufacturing: common buyer questions
What are your minimum order quantities for liquid supplements?
5,000 units per SKU for fills under 8 oz, including 1 oz and 2 oz dropper bottles. Fills of 8 oz and larger, including 8 oz and 16 oz bottles, start at 2,500 units per SKU.
How long does it take?
About 12 weeks from approved formula and packaging to finished goods. Packaging component availability, not manufacturing capacity, is what usually moves the date.
Private label or custom: which do I need?
Private label puts your brand on a liquid from our catalog that is already in the market through other brands. Custom means the specification is yours, developed from your benchmark or brief, and no one else can order it. Both run on the same minimums.
What is the difference between alcohol-free and low-alcohol liquid extracts?
A low-alcohol extract is made with a water and alcohol menstruum and keeps a measured alcohol content that is stated in the specification. An alcohol-free liquid contains no alcohol in the finished product, for brands whose channel, customer or certification path rules it out. BioB produces both in house.
Do you make gummies or softgels?
No. BioB manufactures liquids, capsules, tablets, powders, lozenges and soft chews. Gummies and softgels are not formats we produce.
Can I get samples before committing?
Yes. Catalog liquids can be sampled as they are; a modified or custom formula is sampled once the formulation is made. Samples ship within two business days with the specification sheet. A certificate of analysis is issued with production lots, not with samples.
Who is responsible for the label and its claims?
The brand. You own the label, the claims on it and the product listing. BioB supplies the specification and certificate of analysis that stand behind the panel and reviews the artwork against the product before the run.
Do you white label?
No. White label is pre-made stock sold to any brand that puts a label on it. Every BioB lot is made to order under your brand to an agreed specification and ships with its full shelf life.
Do you make the botanical extracts in your liquids?
Yes. BioB is the contract manufacturing division of Bio-Botanica, which has produced botanical extracts in Hauppauge, New York since 1972. The extracts in your liquid and the liquid itself are made in the same facility under the same quality system.
